We had another successful Women’s One Day Retreat, September 28, from 8:45 AM to 4:45 PM.

This year’s theme was “Let Us Play!: Cultivating Holy Playfulness”.  Play is often discounted as “unimportant,” especially for adults, but play is essential for our emotional and spiritual lives.  Humans were created by God to need play almost as much as we need air and water.  Play ties us to our creative and playful God and helps us to know more who God is and who we are.  Come and be refreshed!  Have fun with women of all ages, as we let the fun fuel our spiritual selves!

The Rev. Julie Delezenne was leading us. She currently serves as the pastor of First Presbyterian Church of Warren.

We gathered at the Kilgour Scottish Centre of the St. Andrew’s Society, 2363 Rochester Court in Troy, located at the intersection of Stephenson Hwy. and Rochester Road. Use the Red Roof Inn driveway.

Members, friends, and visitors are all welcome.  Please consider joining us next year.

The retreat was a balance of large group interaction, mini presentations, small group conversations, a craft and lunch.  It’s a wonderful opportunity to relax, connect with friends, and make new friends
