So Much Better Together Saturday

Why It’s Important:

Joining with others to take on Climate Change leads to effective action, reduces stress and is a better time!

Action Options:

Zoom In To Play Virtual BINGO

April 29th at 6:30

  1. Zoom into BINGO hosted by Citizens’ Climate Lobby, EDF Action, Greenfield Presbyterian Church, Moms Clean Air Force and the Sierra Club.

Learn a little, act a little, and meet some other great people who care about our climate. Simply Zoom in and we’ll get you a card and instructions.

  2. Join a Group or Sponsor One

Taking on one of the greatest threats to humankind can be overwhelming. We recommend that you join a climate action group. Groups have more impact and provide a framework and resources for action and can use help from volunteers with a variety of talents. Another benefit is the fellowship and support that comes when you are part of a group. Here’s a list of some local and national organizations addressing the climate emergency.

Wrapping Up

Of course, this Climate Week has only touched on some ways to take climate action. If you have NOT found your best way to take action or a climate issue to act on, feel free to contact us, we would be glad to try and help you find your place. We will be keeping the Climate Week GPC Climate Week available for your reference in the future and for others who might want to try it!

Please revisit our Climate Connections and Comments Page to share your Climate experiences and photos. Did you learn anything you didn’t already know? Did you take any new actions to help stop climate change? Any thoughts on how we can improve the Climate Week or better support you? Your feedback will help us improve and focus our future work. We welcome feedback at GPCClimate@gmail.com as well.

Did you take action each day of Climate Week? If you did, or even if you complete each day’s action in the next few months, please let us know! We would like to add your name to our Hall of Fame!
