Mark your calendars for Sunday, May 5 for the third annual Berkley/Royal Oak CROP Walk Against Hunger. This year the walk will begin and end at First Congregational Church in Royal Oak (so, a new route). We are also beginning one half hour earlier, with registration commencing at 1:00 pm and the walk taking off at 1:30 pm. Sponsor sheets will be available beginning in April. There will be a one mile and a 5K route.

Last year we raised just shy of $20,000, and 25% of that came right back to our own community to The Welcome Inn, The Good Shepherd Lutheran Food Pantry, and the Royal Oak First Methodist Lunch Program. 75% of funds raised will go to Church World Service for hunger relief and disaster assistance programs here in the U.S. and around the world.

If you are not able to walk you can still help! We will need van drivers, crossing guards, nurses, and registrars.

Sponsor forms are now available. If you have questions please inquire with Peter Moore, Alan Gebauer, Mike Fritsch, or Keith Logsdon.
