December 2 and December 9 – Mission Committee Alternative Christmas Fair

We have new, unique products this year from both local and global entrepreneurs !!!  We will have items which include beautiful jewelry, scarves, baskets and many more gift items. We will continue with favorites from prior years including Motown Soup.

So prepare your list of teachers, coaches, neighbors, friends and family and support these worthwhile programs with your holiday shopping!!!

The Alternative Christmas Fair is between and after church services on December 2 and 9.

December 2 – Messy Church Dadvent

You do not want to miss our Messy Church DADVENT on Sunday, December 2 at 3 – 4:30 pm. Dads, Grandpas, uncles, anyone really, are invited to experience Messy Church with a favorite child. We’ll create Advent projects, enjoy refreshments and sing silly songs during this fun workshop. Volunteers will be needed at our creation stations and to serve the snacks.

December 9 – Cookie Sale for the Welcome Inn

We are hoping that you will bake cookies; this year we will be selling them to benefit the Welcome Inn.  Please bring your cookies to church on Sunday, December 9 and we will have a table set up as part of the mission fair. Thank you!

December 23 – Remember Me Tree

During the year we offer a number of ways to remember our loved ones who have gone on before us and are waiting for us on the other side of the river. We place flowers in a cross for All Saints, and display poinsettias and lilies in the sanctuary, but none is more touching than the “Remember Me” Tree located in the multi-purpose room. Beginning December 23 you can hang an ornament on this tree in memory of your loved ones. What better time of year to remember?

 December 24 – Christmas Eve

Please join us on Monday, December 24 for our Family Service at 5:00 and annual Candlelight service with Holy Communion and Chancel Choir at 10:00 p.m.
